Jesse is a freelance guitarist native to Denton, TX. He began playing guitar at age 8 studying primarily classical guitar. In 2013, he received a Bachelor of Arts in Classical Guitar from Texas Christian University. At TCU, he studied with Chip Christ and Tom Burchill, performing in master-classes with Miguel Romero, and Luis Orlandini. In Spring of 2017, Jesse obtained his Master of Music from the University of North Texas in Jazz Studies. While at UNT, Jesse studied Jazz Guitar under Fred Hamilton and Richard McClure as well as performing with the L5 guitar ensemble. He has had the opportunity to perform with some of DFW’s finest Jazz Musicians, opening for the local Grammy Award-winning band “Brave Combo”, performing with the Avant Chamber Ballet, in musicals, for weddings and private events, and various other settings. In lessons he likes to focus on concepts such as improvisation, music-reading, sight-reading, rhythm guitar, solo guitar, music theory, and more.

Amber is a current student at the University of North Texas College of Music studying music education and working as a teaching assistant in the university’s after-school String Project program. She is a member of the University of North Texas Concert Orchestra but is also working with other string musicians in jazz improvisation. She is proficient on piano and violin, and is always seeking out new instruments and styles to learn. Amber has played the cello since she was eleven years old and has known since then that music would be one of her major passions. Growing up in an orchestra program where she was able to create stories with a group and had opportunities to play for the community helped her realize that music can be incredibly healing and therapeutic, and her goal in life is to share its light and passion with others.

Kalista is a violist and music education major at the University of North Texas. She has been studying music since she was five; starting on violin and piano. With nine years of experience on viola, and four years of voice she is passionate about spreading the power of music. Kalista has coached small ensembles, taught lessons in her hometown of Houston, Texas, is a past member of the Lone Star String Ensemble and Symphony North of Houston. She is currently a member of the University of North Texas Concert Orchestra and a teaching assistant with the University of North Texas String Project. She plans to continue teaching through her life to encourage others to pursue their love of music.

A graduate of University of North Texas and winner of the Share Your Soul music competition, Joe picked up the Saxophone in 2001 and since then has grown not only in skill but also versatility. Now he enjoys playing all types of Saxophones, as well as clarinet, flute, and piano. Since he is a very active performer in the DFW and Houston areas you can usually find him out and about performing with InVersion, Wow Me! Entertainment, Latin Express, and the Houstonian Big Band. Since joining the Da Capo Music team he has shown that his versatility goes beyond performing and extends into teaching!

Johnathan has a Bachelor of Arts in Music from the prestigious University of North Texas. Since Johnathan Castro began studying music he has gained much experience in performing and teaching. He has performed in 6 orchestras including his guest performance with the Austin Symphony Orchestra. He has also performed with numerous classical ensembles and electric bands. As an educator he has taught private lessons since 2004 and been a guest speaker in classrooms across Texas. He has taught for the University of North Texas String Project, been the Music Director for The Corinth Academy private school and has been a private lesson teacher for numerous school districts and companies. Johnathan enjoys challenging his students and finding new and inventive places for them to perform at.
With more than 20 combined years of experience in music lessons, Johnathan and Nicole decided to go out on their own and make music lessons fun, inviting, accessible, and affordable.
Many of their students have gone on to become great successes in and out of music. Working as a musician is not for everyone but all people experience music in deeper ways when they connect through performance and knowledge.
We have surrounded ourselves with some of the best teachers in the DFW and are now able to offer private lessons for Piano, Guitar, Drums, Voice, Violin, Viola, Cello, and Bass Guitar!
Yeseul~B.M., M.M., DMA Candidate~Piano
Originally from Seoul, South Korea, Yeseul began studying piano as a young child.
She eventually went on to receive her Bachelors of Music in Piano Performance from Ewha Women's University in 2016 and her Masters of Music in Piano Perfomance from the Peabody Conservatory of Music at Johns Hopkins University in 2018. Currently she is a Doctoral candidate in Piano Performance at the University of North Texas in Denton. She loves music and loves working with advanced students helping them to push further than they could imagine.

Nicole has a Bachelor of Music in Vocal Performance from the world renowned University of North Texas. Nicole has performed all over the world sharing her gift of singing through North America and Asia. Beyond performing Nicole has an astounding passion for teaching young students or "itty-bitties" as she affectionately calls them. She is a franchise owner of Kindermusik and looks forward to working with kids in a fun learning environment while teaching the fundamentals of music along the way. In addition to her work with young children Nicole loves high caliber music and continues to run All Region and All State Camps to help middle and high school students reach the pinnacle of their talent.

Originally from Seattle, Jack is currently studying Jazz Voice at the University of North Texas. From an early age, his passion for music led him to musical success; from performing with several All-State and All-Region ensembles to earning top-soloist awards in various nation-wide jazz festivals. Currently Jack is an active performer and songwriter and has performed at such venues as the Paramount Theatre, Dimitriou’s Jazz Alley, Loyola University, and recently was on tour within the Alicante region of Spain. As a teacher, Jack works with each student to discover their personal and creative voice by exploring techniques such as improvisation and songwriting, all within the belief that it is within anyone’s reach to become an excellent musician.

A former voice and piano student at Richland College, Cheyenne knew as a young child that music was her calling. Her earliest and fondest memories include sitting at her fathers feet as he played and sang at the piano. As a teenager, Cheyenne’s love of music blossomed while studying piano under her grandmother, Alice Davis. Her talent for performing garnered attention so quickly that during her junior year of high school she was awarded the Paderewski Medal by the National Piano Guild. Since 2007 Cheyenne has been the lead singer of a professional party band called the Roof Raisers. Cheyenne also performs and travels with various other bands in DFW such as Mr. Inez, The Wonders, and Spinout. Cheyenne resides in Denton with her husband John and her puppy dogs, Sophie, Whiskey and Diesel, and her boss cat, Conrad Shady-Cat III.
